A Whole New Year

Here comes 2010, a whole new year that is full of adventure. This is a year that I have to face challenges and a bunch of headache problems. Well, at least all I have to concentrate on is my job for the next few months. By March, SPM results will be out and I'll have to deal with whatever results I get and hopefully it doesn't sucks.

Interviews for scholarships and my driving test will come next. Then, the choice of my future path will be next in my to-do list. It's a very important year, and each decision I make is crucial. I have no idea about everything that is coming next, but I hope I can handle it well and try to get over it, even it may be a calamity.

However, I did knew some new friends from my workplace. This has been a wonderful experience so far, except for the muscle ache. Well, it's all worth it. I knew two boys, which is my colleague, Ah Mun and Ah Yik. Then, there's my supervisor, Queenie. My senior, Ah Mai, which is a Siam bumiputra and Samantha. I get to know, Timberland's supervisor, Dynamo (Nickname) and also Ah Lee from the opposite stall. I can now practically remember faces that worked in Jusco. It's Fun.

I learned a lot of things about sunglasses and I have the opportunity to handle branded sunglasses. I fell in love with one of the Oakley's sunglasses, of course, it costs my one-month salary. So, I decided that since I loved it, I will let It go.

PTG: It's a brand new year, I hope that all my disappointment, sadness, and frustration last year will come to an end. For that special someone in my heart, I hope that God can protect and look after you. You will always have my support and love and I will never stop praying for you. May God bless us all and we can move on to a whole new stage of our life.

WORK

At last, I finished SPM last Monday, but here comes the other part of my life. I started work right after I finished SPM. I interviewed for a job as sales assistant at a shop named SHADES in Jusco. This job is quite tiring because I need to stand for a very long time. Need not say, I felt like my leg is going to broke off just like that someday. However, since they are paying me with cash, I have to stand and keep standing even if I'm tired like hell.

They do have chairs for us to sit, but of course that can only be done when there is no customer and also with the permission from my boss or supervisor. It is a good thing to have plenty of customers altough that would leave me no time to rest, because that is exactly when I can sell things and make comission.

Well, of course it is a new experience for me because I never work before. And the best part is I get to know all kinds of lens and all kind of brands. There is RayBan, Oakley, Playboy, Givenchy, Gucci, Guess...... All this kind of branded eyewear, not only I get to see, touch, but also to learn which kind of lens protect your eyes most.

For someone wearing spectacles like me, this is definitely the one very best experience. I hope that I can really last and keep my job until I pursue my further studies.
